Why did you move to Tennessee?

Scott Walker March 11, 2014

I asked, “Where are you from?” He told me Kansas. Of course I had to ask why he moved to Tennessee. He told me, “Because it wasn’t too far away on the map.” In case you are curious, it is an 11-hour drive from Topeka, Kansas (795-miles away) to Knoxville, TN, which is where I ran into this man.

I asked him if he had a job lined up before making the move. His response, “No.” “Where do you work now?” I asked.  “I’m a stage hand.” “Do you like it?” “I love it.”
