"Photoshopped" a Bad Word?

Scott Walker January 15, 2014

You always hear the word "photoshopped" when you hear people describe a great picture.  People just assume a great picture has been touched up using Photoshop.

The truth is: A great picture does not have to be "photoshopped," which by the way is not a real word. I rarely use Photoshop, but when I do it is usually just for fun. I do however use Lightroom and the Google Nik Collection. Both are excellent at bringing out the true color in pictures.

The above shot is not great. It was however "photshopped."
