The Pig Roast

Scott Walker June 7, 2020

2018 CUBA and a roasting pig at 11PM:

The things we worry ourselves with are sometimes out of our control. All the other times, we can control little aspects of it, whatever “it” might be.

Take the roasting pig for example, we can control the taste with the spices we may choose, but we can’t control the size of the porker, unless we pick an entirely new pig.

We can’t always control our environment, but we can choose to leave it behind.

“We are our choices.”― Jean-Paul Sartre
