A tune for the plants with a touch of aqua

Scott Walker September 3, 2018

Hours passed as he sat on the curb of a Cuban hotel in downtown Havana strumming his ukulele. As the hours went by he would get up and pour some of his water bottle on the plants directly behind him, one by one.

In Cuba, vegetable sales and meat sales are common on the street. This resident is preparing Yuca to offer from his small stand in Havana.

Cuba is a place of faded colors and kind people, despite how the government interacts with their residents. Some of the nicest and most laid back people I have ever met call Cuba home.

Below is a local outdoor meat market in Havana.

Below is a roadside fruit and vegetable stand. The salesman can be seen resting in the background.
