Eye Opening - Eye Changing

Scott Walker October 19, 2018
“Memories warm you up from the inside. But they also tear you apart.”
— Haruki Murakami

"Memories" are interesting things. They can be good or they can be bad. Sometimes, the bad ones become twisted with the good ones and you are unable to decipher which is stronger.

When good and bad are entangled in memories of your own, it is time to make new, longer lasting positive memories by conquering more dreams and living more in today as opposed to the past or even the future.

Earlier this year in January, I visited the Grand Canyon with my son. We spent our first night that we arrived in a Las Vegas hotel. It, like one of many, is one of those trips I will never forget as we saw so much life, both in the desert and along the ridge-lines of the canyon. Some of that life eye opening and other parts of it like the naturally formed Grand Canyon, eye changing.
