Street Magic in Nashville, TN

Scott Walker May 22, 2016

Street magic dates back to the 1400’s. Passing a hat after an act or acts has long been a tradition for street performers and street magicians.

In this photo, this man performed multiple tricks with a floating cigarette, never saying a single word. In silence, he then held out his hat.

"Onstage, I find absolutely nothing but exhilaration in not talking." - Teller of Penn and Teller
