A few of my old film pictures...

Scott Walker February 24, 2014

Good times: I was looking through old pictures that I took and found a box from when I was in the Navy. I was living in Virginia Beach, VA (1996) at the time and when I got off work I would sometimes drive around taking pictures with my new camera that I bought on base. Some of these shots were taken outside of VA.

The camera I had was a Canon Rebel (Film of course). I shot most of my pictures in black and white. I used the cheapest film possible and the cheapest places to get it developed, I had no money.

I did not scan these pictures in, but instead used my Fuji X-Pro1 to take a picture of them. The scanner made them look too grainy. I thought I would share some of these film shots with you...

Camera specs at the time:

Canon EOS Rebel Film SLR Camera Kit with 35-80mm EF Lens. This was not an expensive camera at the time, I probably paid $299 for it and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.
