Kids in the Park

Scott Walker January 27, 2014

So what exactly is the new found fun of hammocks anyway? Kids and adults both love this new trend of "Hammocking." I shot this in the park and evidently, the hammock is replacing the traditional parks swing, which has been removed from most parks out of safety concerns. This looks 100 times more fun anyway. Note to government, you can't take away the swings, kids will find an alternative.

By the way, the first swing set was created by the University of Virginia Summer School program in 1912. The first swing was however created in the 1800's. Of course, whose to say there was no swing in Bible times and perhaps before?
